American Awning windows are a system of awning windows based on the American Casement system. They offer similar functionality, i.e. easy opening to the outside, energy efficiency above average, a clear view, and the ability to ventilate a room effortlessly.

Awning windows are the best match for kitchens, particularly in the sink area, where casement and traditional sash windows may not offer the expected functionality.

This system offers an optional nailing fin that can streamline the installation process in new buildings.
